Working with master students, as a group we managed to create an installation for a live event. Whilst looking at the design, the main objective of the project was to understand the concerns of creating a “real” thing. Looking at security, efficiency, time management and aesthetics, we managed to deliver a successful visual installation, which had a direct relationship which the main elements of the event proposed, such as sound, light and people. This led us to create a string installation, which dragged the attention towards the stage, using fluorescent string which reacted to the UV light of the venue.
